We would like to invite you to take part in a special Art Alumni Exhibition. The showcase will be held in January 2014 at The Peacock Gallery for approximately three weeks and will include a private view with reunion drinks.We are looking for former Maiden Erlegh School art students who:

– are able to produce a piece of art work in any medium for exhibition, by 16 December 2013 (please send images by 8 November).

– are currently working as a designer, artist, or maker or within a profession linked to art.

– can submit a written account of where life has taken you since studying at Maiden Erlegh.

An Urban Language – Janet Curley Cannon


This exciting exhibition is now up and running until 8th October.



Janet is a mixed media fine artist, originally from Seattle WA USA but has been living in Berkshire for almost 20 years. She gained her BA in Art History from the University of Washington, USA and her MA in Fine Art Print from Camberwell College, University of the Arts London. Her work has been selected for many international exhibitions, festivals and curated projects including the Liverpool Biennial Independents, London’s Gasworks Gallery, BBC Big Screens program, and the International Print Triennial, Poland. She is continually pushing the boundaries of digital printmaking and her work is documented in a number of publications including ‘Critical Mass – Printmaking Beyond the Edge’ by Richard Noyce, A&C Black (2010) and the upcoming book by Jac Scott, ‘Revolutionary Sculpture – Attitudes in Mixed-Media Art’ to be published by Crowood Press in 2014.
