About us

The Peacock Gallery forms part of Community Arts at Maiden Erlegh School and has hosted many exhibitions since it opened in May 2004 including several Hayward Touring exhibitions from Southbank Centre, London. Community Arts is a non-profit organisation providing a space to encourage and stimulate interest in art in the local and wider community and to support and promote the work of emerging and established artists. The Peacock Gallery is named in honour of John Peacock, a master potter and former Head of Art at Maiden Erlegh.
